It is innovative in two aspects: – target group aspect – the project will work with mediators (physical education teachers in primary schools, parents\u2019 organizations and animators) who, in a professional or personal aspect, are committed to the development of children’s skills.
– tools aspect \u2013 the project will increase physical activity levels through intergenerational interaction based on traditional games. The project will also focus on environment protection and the integrity in sport and fair play as a value. \u0422hus, the project will build environmentally friendly habits and increase physical activity.
The project will work towards the promotion of sport as a method of non – formal environmental education through the implementation of the following activities:
\u2022 Research of games appropriate to promote the link between physical activity and environmental protection;
\u2022 Developing a video compendium of 24 Green games.
\u2022 Developing a FAIR volunteer program and training the target group of volunteers to implement the Green games among children.
\u2022 Validating the skills gathered during the program among 120 children in all partner countries through the organisation of 4 Green Kids Fests at national levels. Sustainable GREEN KIDS CALENDAR will be elaborated as a dissemination and sustainable tool allowing all interested organisations to apply for participation in \u201cgreen games\u201d as a means of promoting sustainable and responsible urban initiatives.<\/p>
